Heygood, Orr & Pearson is pursuing a medical malpractice wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of the husband of a Dallas, Texas woman who died of sepsis due to necrotizing fasciitis (flesh-eating disease or flesh-eating bacteria syndrome). Medical experts in emergency room care believe that this woman died because of the failure of the physician’s assistant and doctor at the hospital where she was admitted to recognize and treat the flesh-eating bacterial infection.
